Privacy Policy
Aevia Pup Partner — West Solution Consulting Corp.
Effective Date: May 10, 2026 | Last Updated: June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Aevia Pup Partner: Caregivers (the "Partner App") collects, processes, and protects your information when you log activities for dogs in your care.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data Stored On Your Device
Information you enter in the Partner App is stored locally on your device and includes:
- Dog Profiles You Care For: Names and basic information about the dogs you're authorized to log activities for
- Activity Logs: Walk records, meal entries, and vet care notes you submit (stored temporarily until synced)
- Security Keys: Encryption keys used to secure your submissions are stored in your device's secure keychain
- Display Name: The name shown to dog owners when you submit logs
1.2 Data Backed Up to Your iCloud
By default, the app syncs the following information to your personal Apple iCloud account via CloudKit:
- Dogs You're Authorized to Care For: Basic dog profile information for dogs linked to your account
- Pending Activity Logs: Queued entries that haven't yet synced to the owner's app
- Reminder Preferences: Notification settings associated with your caregiver activities
You can choose "Continue without backup" during onboarding to disable iCloud sync. We cannot access your iCloud data. CloudKit storage is managed entirely by Apple under your Apple ID credentials.
1.3 Data We Process
To route your caregiving logs to the correct dog owner, we process minimal information:
- Anonymous Authentication: We use Sign in with Apple to create a secure, anonymous identifier. We do not collect your email address.
- Display Name: Your chosen name that appears to dog owners. This name is transmitted over secure TLS encryption when routing logs to owners, in addition to being included within encrypted payloads.
- Encrypted Activity Logs: Your walk, meal, and vet care entries are encrypted on your device before transmission. We cannot read or decrypt this information.
- Basic Routing Data: Dog profile identifiers, activity types, and timestamps to ensure logs reach the correct owner
2. How Encryption Protects Your Privacy
When dog owners invite you to use the Partner App, they share a secure link that includes an encryption key. Here's how this protects your privacy:
- End-to-End Encryption: Your activity logs are encrypted on your device before being sent to our servers
- We Cannot Read Your Logs: The encryption keys never leave your device, so we have no way to decrypt or view your submissions
- Secure Key Storage: Encryption keys are stored in your device's secure keychain, protected by iOS hardware security
- Owner-Only Access: Only the dog owner who invited you can decrypt and view your submissions
3. Authentication and Your Identity
We use Sign in with Apple to secure your account and prevent unauthorized access:
- Anonymous Identifier: We create a secure, anonymous identifier linked to your Apple ID. We do not collect your email address or real name.
- Display Name: You can choose how your name appears to dog owners. You can change this at any time in Settings.
- Audit Trail: Dog owners can see which caregiver submitted each activity log, helping ensure accountability.
4. Your Data Rights
4.1 Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your caregiver account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account & Data. This action will:
- Erase all local data from your device
- Remove your authentication credentials from our servers
- Delete any pending activity logs that haven't been reviewed
- Revoke all caregiver invitations linked to your account
Important: This deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot recover your data once deleted.
5. Analytics and Tracking
We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking. We may collect basic technical information to improve app stability:
- No Marketing Trackers: We do not use advertising SDKs or marketing analytics platforms
- Optional Crash Reports: You can opt in to share anonymous crash reports to help us fix technical issues. You can disable this at any time in Settings.
6. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information. We may share limited technical data only:
- With Service Providers: We use secure infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting services) to operate the app. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
- When Required by Law: We may disclose information if required by a valid legal order, such as a subpoena or court order.
